Responsible for all inspection activities within the department, interface functions throughout the shop floor / process suppliers and appropriate training to inspection / shop floor personel, Daily inspection support to satisfy production and despatch schedules continually review the department and inspection personel performance and working practices, control of all standard room activities including INSTRUMENT and GAUGE control and calibration to support production manufacture. maintain qualilty records and working practices in line with company proceedures,ENISO9001:2000 and TS 16949 requirements.
In house inspection, completion of inspection reports for sample parts, Operator and inspector training where appropiate, initial appraisal of new prospective suppliers and subsequent development training, control / recording of "inhouse" and sub contract non conforming concerns.
Conduct internal audits, Involvement in 8D, PPAP, MSA, problem solving activities, stop production to correct quality problems, To discipline and take through proceedure any employee who contravenes rules and regul. Management of up to 4 staff
