Role:Works Engineer
Location:Droitwich
Salary:30k - 40k

Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for the Facilities, Plant and machine to include but not exclusively, in order to achieve maximum equipment uptime and high levels of employee welfare;

Communications
Security
Production equipment
Services i.e. heating, lighting & power
Service contracts i.e. forklifts

Responsible for a multi-skilled maintenance team potentially spanning three shifts and weekends.
Responsible for all health and safety activities supported by the Operations Manager. With a proactive approach to improvement and adoption of new legislation.
Incorporating;

Pat testing
Noise surveying and controls
PPE specification and monitoring
COSHH implementation and control
Contractor management & safe systems of work

To continually improve the current planned preventative maintenance program and supply machine breakdown and up time analysis.
Safe and timely installation and / or movement of all necessary plant and machinery.
Deliver continuous improvement projects increasing operational efficiencies and overall plant effectiveness.
To support the Operations Manager in terms of factory layout including material and tool storage, equipment position and plant growth as the business continues to develop.
